Upgrade to Premium

From any free server:
  1. Open Billing in the sidebar.
  2. Click the Get Premium button on the plan card you want.
  3. LemonSqueezy checkout opens in a new tab. Fill in card details.
  4. Submit. Within 2–5 seconds, the dashboard shows your server as Premium.

Switch from monthly to annual

Annual is 59/yrvs59/yr vs 5.99/mo × 12 = 71.88/yr.Yousave71.88/yr. You save 12 (≈17%).
  1. Billing page. The Monthly card shows Current plan; the Annual card shows Switch — save $12/yr.
  2. Click Switch.
  3. Confirm in the modal — it explains the prorated charge.
  4. LemonSqueezy charges the prorated difference immediately and extends your period to match the annual cadence. No interruption in service.

Upgrade to Lifetime

Lifetime is $99 once. Break-even vs monthly is ~16 months.
  1. Billing page. Click Upgrade to Lifetime.
  2. Confirmation modal warns: “Your current $5.99/mo subscription will be cancelled automatically once the lifetime purchase clears.”
  3. You’re redirected to LemonSqueezy checkout.
  4. After purchase, the webhook:
    • Marks your server as Premium with premium_expires_at = null (never expires).
    • Cancels your existing monthly/annual subscription at LemonSqueezy.
You won’t be double-charged — the old recurring sub is cancelled server-side before the next bill.

Downgrade

Downgrades go through the LemonSqueezy customer portal, not the dashboard. This keeps refund + proration decisions on LS’s side where they have full payment-method and history visibility. To downgrade annual → monthly:
  1. Click Manage subscription in the billing hero — opens LemonSqueezy portal.
  2. In the portal, change your plan.
  3. LemonSqueezy handles the proration or sets the change to take effect at your next renewal.

Cancel

Two ways:
  • From the dashboard. Billing → Subscription history → Cancel on the active row. LemonSqueezy schedules the cancellation for end-of-period. Premium stays active until then.
  • From LemonSqueezy customer portal. Same outcome, initiated from LS’s side.
After cancellation:
  • No further charges.
  • Premium remains until the current period ends.
  • When it ends, your server drops to Free. Premium-gated features become read-only until you re-subscribe.

Add or remove the Agency add-on

Agency is orthogonal to your base subscription. From Billing, click Add to Premium on the Agency card. Charged $20/mo as a separate line item. Cancel independently of your Premium sub.

Receipts + invoices

LemonSqueezy emails a receipt for every charge. EU customers get a VAT-compliant invoice. Download past invoices from the customer portal at any time.

Payment methods

LemonSqueezy accepts: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Some regions also get iDEAL, Bancontact, or SEPA Direct Debit at checkout.
